Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
Some people always think that they are right. On a journey, they never ask for directions. When they are ill, they do not go to a doctor. Even if they do go to a doctor, they do not obey their advice. They are proud, and Scripture calls them ‘fools’. The fool thinks that they already knows the right way. All the ways of a man are clean and innocent in his own eyes and he may see nothing wrong with his actions, But the LORD weighs and examines the motives and intents of the heart and knows the truth. Get all the advice and instruction you can from Gods word and godly people. This so you will be wise and gain wisdom the rest of your life. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever. Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say, "God catches the wise when they try to outsmart him." Here are some good directions to follow: Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
