Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

There is strength in grace. There is power in mercy. According to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Salvation is something that God does in us and for us. Not something that we in any way do for ourselves. We are saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you and me, and not anything we have done on our own. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. This is why he sent Christ to make us what we are. The Grace provided on the Cross will never run dry. The blood from Emmanuel's veins will never stop pouring out! It is Jesus who draws from our wellspring and gives us the grace we need for today. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. When you feel like giving up.....There is strength in grace. There is power in mercy. There is precious blood on the mercy seat of our hearts where Jesus is enthroned!
