Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
What a gift of life to be spiritually hungry. So many people are full in the cares of this world that they have no hunger for things of God. But those who hunger and realize there need for God, find satisfaction even in the crumbs of our daily bread. I think of people all around the world who are so physically hungry that would eat food mixed with trash to satisfy that human need of hunger. There appetite is different from those who have plenty food, who throw away their if it doesn't taste good. People need such extravagant in order to be filled and content. Thank God for the gift of a hungry soul! They can appreciate the spiritual food The LORD gives daily as bread to his children. Sometimes he gives a feast and other times he gives just enough. I tell this: I have never seen the righteous begging for bread. Jesus feeds them directly from his hand and find true pleasure and satisfaction in Him. Yes, He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. If your enemy is hungry share with him some of your daily bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him living water from within to drink. In this way you will make him feel guilty and ashamed of his gluttoned heart, and the LORD will reward you at the ressurection of the Righteous! Oh how blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God.
