Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
A Shipyard. I see a shipyard, a place where these majestic ships are built and docked. They are prepared and equipped to ride on chaotic and dangerous waters. Like horses on land they gallop wave after wave against all odds riding to and FRO. They are built to withstand the harsh elements of the seas. With careful craftsmanship and the best material to float peacefully on such ever changing waters of the day. A Shipyard is where great ships are built starting with inspiration and belief. In the same way, The LORD is building a strong faith in you so that you are not tossed back and forth with every new wind and wave of doctrine. Able to handle strong currents and opinions that come against you. Your faith goes out into very deep and troubled waters, needing deep to call out to deep. Gods power is in action, his impressive works are on the deepest of seas! How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number, living things both large and small. There the ships go to and fro, and Leviathan, which you formed to frolic there. Oh how beautiful it is to see a ship navigate the ocean. And oh beautiful to see a ship built in the heavenly shipyard that has been fashion by God in Christ going out in open waters! Look how majestic and stable and strong the LORD has made our hearts of faith. For without faith it is impossible to please God. We must believe in his word and obey it. Then we will be like sturdy ships able to ride the dangerous waves and currents of the day.
