The LORD will keep the mind that is dependent on Him in perfect peace, for they are trusting in Him. Amen. “We have the mind of Christ.” Having the mind of Christ means sharing the plan, purpose, and perspective of Christ, and it is something that all believers possess. Having the mind of Christ means we understand God’s plan in the world to bring glory to Himself, restore creation to its original splendor, and provide salvation for sinners. It means we identify with Christ’s purpose “to seek and to save what was lost”. It means we share Jesus’ perspective of humility and obedience and prayerful dependence on God. When we have the mind of Christ we are aided by the Holy Spirit and given access to the thoughts of Christ! We have been given the ability to see what is spiritual and to think what Christ thinks. Oh, how imagine how pure and peaceful is the Mind of God! Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, The LORD thinks about such things. God cannot be tempted. He will never tempt anyone. A man is tempted to do wrong when he lets himself be led by what his bad thoughts tell him to do. When he does what his bad thoughts tell him to do, he sins. When sin completes its work, it brings death. Amen. Imagine with me know the Redeemed sinner saved by grace and filled with the Spirit of Christ, hearing for first time, go your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more! Guilt and shame gone! Love, peace, and righteousness fills the mind of the believer in Jesus. Like in creation The LORD breathed into Adam and He became a living soul! So, does the believer as a new creation in Christ receive the gift of the Mind and Precious of Christ! What an exchange on the Cross! And what a peace that surpasses all understanding from the Resurrected life in Jesus we have! These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we must impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
