Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
Your spiritual strength comes from your integrity. If you are not having victory over sin you will hide in shame and guilt. Having a form of godliness but denying the power of God by the way you think and live. Listen, no matter what you have done you can still be redeemed because of the blood of Christ. You can one day lift up your head because the LORD is a shield around you; He is your glory and the one who holds your head high. By your pursuit of relationship with Jesus, He is building in you a solid foundation of integrity that can never be shaken. Before you were mastered by sin and shame living as a hypocrite. Never able to have integrity that comes from God. But by growing in your faith in Jesus, He then allows us to walk in integrity and practice righteousness, speaking the truth from our hearts. Refusing to gossip or harm our neighbor or speak evil of our friends. We despise what is evil and cling to what is good. As well as honor the faithful followers of the LORD, and keep our promises even when it hurts. Lending money without charging interest and don't take bribes to hurt the innocent. Those who do these things will always stand firm. There integrity comes from the Righteousness of Christ flowing through them. His virtue and power gives strength to the powerless and the weak. Stay in the presence of God daily to grow in your integrity and strength. Righteousness guards the person of integrity, but wickedness overthrows the sinner. Yes, boast in Jesus and his victory on the Cross. Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD. Jesus lived a blameless life so that we can be found blameless in his sight. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.
