Proverbs of a 40 yr old man
Don’t say, “I will get even for this wrong.” Wait for the LORD to handle the matter. He will save you. He will avenge you. He will deliver you. Sometimes we want to punish people who hurt us. This is not a good attitude to have. We should forgive people. We should even love our enemies. God will punish evil people, if they do not ask God to forgive them. Scripture says, I will take revenge; I will pay them back. In due time their feet will slip. Their day of disaster will arrive, and their destiny will overtake them. Amen. A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense. Think about this deeply: Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
