I see a person who always says they are sorry and eventually run out of chances to repent and make change. I'm sorry was always their response, never taking accountability just sorry of getting caught and for the hurt they caused. Amen. Many say I'm sorry so much that it could be our middle name. But with each I'm sorry the consequences get worse. The sufferings get worse. Until the final, I'm sorry has no chance of hope just checkmate. Constant I'm sorry chokes the life out of you because of the entanglement of sinful desires and evil deeds. I'm sorry only works after real change and repentance. Growth and maturity turn's I'm sorry to I can do better. Able to receive discipline and correction and people see your change with their own eyes, and not just your words. To repent is a process of turning around. It's not just a moment of clarity, but many times a honest fight to do what is right. If you're finding it hard to repent and I'm sorry is losing its value with those you love. Keep it basic. The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked. Amen. This is a beautiful verse that reminds me of bearing fruit in keeping with repentance. Meaning aligning actions with a changed heart, rather than relying on religious rituals alone. With every I'm sorry we need to grow spiritually in our thoughts and behavior. Our actions will be sure to follow. We tend to use words alone to facilitate change or do something good one time and it be enough to show repentance. If we can get a continual behavior and changing of mind, we will avoid the pitfalls of growing sin and guilt. The habit of prayer and reading Gods word starts a discipline in us that far exceeds physical work etiquette, a spiritual habit of repentance is worthy of notice to see in someone. Not just seeing people go through the motions but heartfelt behavior bears fruit in keeping with repentance. Do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance? Christs love and kindness is for everyone. He is hoping people repent and make change in their lives through the power of Holy Spirit. How much more do we need to be kind to others who are struggling in habitual sin and I'm sorry? Holding to account their behavior more than their words and actions. Show me your discipline and I will see changed behavior. Your words and actions can hide behind I'm sorry all day. I see a person who made their bed and are lying in it. I'm sorry corned them to the point of no return. Praise God. Psalm 139:8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. Reach out to the LORD Jesus. He is able to save the uttermost.
