Battle prayer notes 4/4/23
Good morning brother,
Day two: How are we to live in the present? Living in the present. In the moment, the day to day, the mundane and arcane. If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead, use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need. Live your life differently by the power of the blood of Jesus. Matt 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” The Good News: Don't worry about the things that haven't happened yet. Live in the moment, and leave your worries for tomorrow.
Worry in the present is different from the making peace with the past. Only thing about the present is that the past catches up with you.
Seek ye first the Kingdom.
Jesus you call me friend. A friend in the moment is better than a brother far away.
Yesterday is history, the future is a mystery, but today is a gift from the Lord, thats why it’s called present 🎁.
God cares about what you’re going through today.
King Hezekiah was added 15 years. Saved from death. We as well can praise the LORD in the temple of the LORD being saved from sin and death. Giving us new life in this evil world to live for him.
This is the day the LORD has made.
LORD thank you for today. Thank you for helping me make it through the past and live in the presence
Thank you for my clothing today the armor of God!
Take time today to smell the roses that God has placed in your life to bring you joy. God comforted Jonah in his sorrow and pride.
A concern and fear of the past manifest itself as Depression as the stress and fear of the future manifests itself as anxiety. Both “mental” illness in need of the present of the present. The lord shall keep you and has given his life for you to worry not. Accept and love as He and you will know what it is to live with his Holy Spirit everyday.
[Isa 38:1-6 NLT] 1 About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to visit him. He gave the king this message: "This is what the LORD says: 'Set your affairs in order, for you are going to die. You will not recover from this illness.'" 2 When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, 3 "Remember, O LORD, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single-mindedly, always doing what pleases you." Then he broke down and wept bitterly. 4 Then this message came to Isaiah from the LORD: 5 "Go back to Hezekiah and tell him, 'This is what the LORD, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will add fifteen years to your life, 6 and I will rescue you and this city from the king of Assyria. Yes, I will defend this city.
Let’s chose today to be grateful. Live with amazing grace.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34 NIV
“Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Nehemiah 8:10
Nehemiah and Ezra encouraged the people not to grieve, but to find joy in the Lord. The strength that comes from the joy of the Lord is a spiritual strength that can sustain and empower believers to overcome difficulties and challenges.
In essence, Nehemiah 8:10 is a reminder to trust in God and to find joy in His presence, even in the midst of trials and tribulations. The verse encourages believers to focus on God's goodness and to draw strength from the joy that comes from knowing Him.
I chose today to live in amazing grace.
Open your eyes the fields are white for harvest
The song "Amazing Grace" was written by John Newton, a former slave trader who became an Anglican minister and a prominent advocate for the abolition of slavery.
Newton wrote the lyrics to "Amazing Grace" in 1772, reflecting on his own conversion experience and his gratitude for God's mercy and forgiveness. He had a dramatic spiritual awakening during a storm at sea, which led him to give up his life as a slave trader and become a Christian.
The song's lyrics speak to the transformative power of God's grace, which can save and redeem even the most lost and broken of sinners. The song became popular in the United States during the Second Great Awakening in the early 19th century and has since become one of the most well-known and beloved hymns in the English-speaking world. Its enduring popularity is a testament to the universal appeal of its message of redemption and hope.
“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?”
Deuteronomy 10:12-13 NIV
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
Open your eyes the Kingdom things are right in front of you.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:10
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.””
Hebrews 12:28-29
We can always find something to worry about. The ignorant worry because they don’t know enough; the intelligent worry because they know too much. The rich fear losing what they have; the poor fear not having enough. The old worry because they’re facing death; the young because they’re facing life. Like sand in machinery, worry won’t lengthen your life, but it may shorten it. Worry is a wound in the heart of God.
Kingdom first. If not we will miss the moments God wants to use us.
LORD slow down the game for see what you are down.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:33
When dealing with people sometimes its like holding a pan with a hot handle. Be careful use discretion.
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
James 1:12
“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,”
James 1:19
Today LORD use me as an instrument for your glory.
Thank you for another great day of zoom battle prayer.
