Stop trying to grab the wild snake within you by it's head. Yes, it's waiting even crouching, at the door of your heart to poison your mind. The more you allow yourself to be bitten by sin, the more deeper the snake sinks it's fangs controlling your life. Grab the snake by its tail instead and let Jesus crush it's head! It is an expression of authority over the snake in our lives, the devil behind us and the Cross before us. Jesus takes our wild desires and turns it into a peaceful staff in his hands, using it to lead us as Sheperd over our souls. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. The snake is dead, it got rolled over by the stone from the empty tomb. Study Ex. 4:1-4
