Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Evil desires flow sinful currents through your body. Feels good in the moment and leave death when the flow is gone. Holy Spirit flows pure righteous desires through your body. May or not feel good in the moment but leaves peace in the aftermath. A continually flow of spirit and life that keeps you alive in Christ. To be dead in our sins is to have no spark of the Divine. Nothing in the mind, will, and emotions that has lasting moral value. Lord Jesus, I need to crucify this flesh, to put a stake in it and stop the flow of evil passions and desires. My will is the faucet to my soul, will I turn the knob of evil or righteous desires? Help me Lord, turn the knob and let your Spirit flood my soul! For I know nothing good dwells in me, that is my flesh. For the willing is present in me, but doing good is not. For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. I have a storm stirring within me and the waters of guilt are drowning my very soul! Holy Spirit come bring peace to my spirit. Peace to this body of death. Jesus you are my source of life, the well from where I can drink living water. Set me free from sin and death and give me your spirit and life.
