Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Lord, may my prayers be set before you like incense. Let my prayer be accepted as sweet-smelling incense in your presence. Let the lifting up of my hands in prayer be accepted as an evening sacrifice. Listen to the sound of my pleading when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your holy sanctuary. I bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for y

Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness; You have exalted Your name and Your word above all else. As long as I live, I will pray to you. I lift my hands in prayer, because my soul is a desert, thirsty for water from you.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When may I come to see God's face? Soon and very soon I am going to see the King.
