Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Five sparrows are sold for only a few cents, but God doesn't forget a single one of them. Even the hairs of your head have all been counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth much more than many sparrows! The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when a shop owner is looking for fine pearls. After finding a very valuable one, the owner goes and sells everything in order to buy that pearl. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Do people know where to find wisdom? Where can they find understanding? No mortal comprehends its worth; it cannot be found in the land of the living. God alone understands the way to wisdom; he knows where it can be found. Great is our Lord Jesus and he is strong in his power and there is no end to his understanding. When The Lord says we are valuable its coming from wisdom. Its not made up or opinion, its Gods word. Its not that God doesn't love the sparrow, its that He loves humanity so much that He would give his life for our salvation. Truly, we are much more valuable than sparrows. Meditate Ps. 119:72
