Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Righteous prayer sets a tone. Gives a mindset of victory. The effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much. Yes, has great power and produces wonderful results. There is something about an innocent person before God, it can help a lot in fighting against sin and evil. First of all, a person that is living as pure as possible before God can pray with an open heart before God. Not ashamed and able to hear the voice of Christ clearer than the guilty soul stuck in neutral. They are moving forward towards faith and are positive enough to face trial and tribulation, not falling away to quickly in doubt. Miracles are not in your back pocket, its for a time and place. And if our hearts are with God He can use our humility in difficult situations. I find it amazing how God works through hearts and minds, its the greatest miracle of all I have witnessed in my life. How prayer sets a tone and how thoughts can bring a victory mindset. Righteous prayer is special because the Holy Spirit has so covered an individual that Jesus is moving. Think about it, heaven sees the prayers of the righteous and it so moves Christ that He intercedes in the affairs of men. Without faith we cannot please God. So when we start living a godly life by faith we are pleasing God. And hopefully the growth we are having is not coming from works, but from relationship with Christ. A fruit of holiness seen in your life that your prayers are actually considered righteous! That's unbelievable! Abraham was not a perfect man. Elijah was not a perfect person. But God considered both of there faith's in him righteous. Faith and works go together, Praise God. May our prayers be salt and light to a dark and dying world. Our prayers are effective even if we do not see the results right away. Jesus is always interceding, always working, even through hearts and minds. Allow Him to set the tone and mindset of your prayers. Keep him in the center of your prayers, because He is what makes every believer righteous. The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
