Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Do those things that will show that you have turned from your sins. For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.
Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Repentance is a tree of life to us and bears fruit unto eternal life. I repent today Jesus, and I receive the gift of faith as small as a mustard seed. With the Spirit of Christ in me I will produce fruit in keeping with repentance.
