Oh To Be Wise Meditations
We all speak one language, the language of the heart. People from all over the world have the same hearts and mind. Even though languages during the Tower of Babel divided people from one another. Its amazing how every heart still has a moral compass and conscience. Humans can still connect with each other with the language of the heart. That is how God connects with humanity still as He moves in people's hearts changing lives unto eternity. Its always been sin that has separated people from each other and especially from God. Listen to Zep. 3:9-11, its a prophecy of Jerusalem but I think of this all over the world even in our time. "For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, That all of them may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder. My scattered people who live beyond the rivers of Ethiopia will come to present their offerings. On that day you will no longer need to be ashamed, for you will no longer be rebels against me. I will remove all proud and arrogant people from among you. There will be no more haughtiness on my holy mountain. As Jesus through the Holy Spirit purifies man's hearts and lips. His children of faith will united into one whole body who though are different in the flesh are all born of the same Spirit. Humanity has always united to do evil and rebel against the Living God. But in Christ, He is purifying and restoring pure speech to the peoples so that all of them may call on the name of the LORD to serve him with a single purpose.
