Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The culmination of all things is near. So I must be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of prayer. Take the signs of the times seriously so I can be sensible in my prayers. Lord, I want to hear from heaven for encouragement and not despair peoples doubts and fears. Jesus, you said you would be with us even to the end of age. Even so come Lord Jesus, come. Help me God to understand the occasion. The hour has come for me to wake up from worldly slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The end of all things is near, soon the trumpet will sound and the dead will rise first. I pray the trumpet of God wakes up dead hearts and minds now for the soon arrival of the King of kings and Lord of lords!
