Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I will love the LORD and honor Him by always looking to Him. Yes, even before trouble arises, even when there is no trouble in sight. Because He continues to hear my voice, my pleas, my cries, and my specific needs. Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld from me His loving devotion! So I will stop relying on myself and other people when I am in trouble. I will stop putting off my cry for help. Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. From now on I will always turn to the Lord first of all and I will not delay. Since He is a God who cares for me and pays attention to me, I will make Him first in my life. I will always call to Him whenever I need help. You can be sure of this: The LORD set apart the godly for himself. The LORD will answer when I call to him. For the LORD loves justice and will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off.
