Oh To Be Wise Meditations
For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Christs blood has been poured out for the remission of sins. His blood covers a multitude of sins. Watch as it follows freely to all who believe in the cities, in the streets, in the by ways and highways, and in the country way and solitary places. The blood of Jesus speaks louder than Abel's blood saying Forgiveness! Would you trample the grace given to you for you to live a righteous and redeemed life? His Blood speaks against evil and gives justice just as much as grace. The Spirit of Christ flows freely like his blood. Justice and mercy are flowing through the streets through Jesus's body his Church. Yes, we are Christs pierced hands and feet. Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us. For we know the one who said, “I will take revenge. I will pay them back.” He also said, “The LORD will judge his own people." As disciples of Jesus we are to go out make disciples of him. He has commissioned us by the power of his blood and the testimony of Holy Spirit in us. How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. The Blood and the Spirit have been poured out. Lets go be the body of Christ.
