Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Freedom is in the Light. This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Walking in the light of His Word will keep us from the bondage and darkness of sin and death. Its in the darkness that chains entangle and get a hold of us more. Growing and festering in us these dark desires start to steal us away from the Great Light of Heaven. So lets keep our hearts pure before the LORD. Not trying to earn our salvation by religious duty and works. But instead walk in the light of grace and love as we learn to obey the voice of God in our lives. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.
