Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

A proud person suffers shame, their pride ends in humiliation. While humility brings honor making the humble wise. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a contrite heart: and he will save the humble of spirit. Humble people know that God is great. God likes humble people. God likes humble people because they look after other people. A humble person considers that other people are important. A proud person thinks only about himself. Listen, always start with a generous portion, being a servant with a humble spirit. Will the LORD not give you more of Holy Spirit when you ask?
