Helping you to become mature in your faith as you rein in your entire nature, which is your human faults and weaknesses. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. Amazing how the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. The tongue is like a spark. It is an evil power that dirties the rest of the body and sets a person's entire life on fire with flames that come from hell itself. If a snake bites before you charm it, what’s the use of being a snake charmer? So are the words from the mouth of the wise gracious always, but fools are consumed by the poisoned words spoken from their very own lips. At the beginning their words are folly, and at the end they are wicked madness. Praise God, Jesus committed no sin and no deceit was found in his mouth. While on earth, He gave true instruction from his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with peace and uprightness and turned many from iniquity. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Let the Living Words of Christ speak to you today and bring healing to your mind, body, and soul. He will give you a new tongue to speak with that comes from a renewed heart and spirit. A new creation where old things spoken have passed away, and new things to proclaim has come.
