Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

Pride ultimately loses what it seeks. We want to look good in the eyes of others, but pride always makes us look small. And if left unchecked leads to a multitude of others sins that are necessary to feed its demands. While jealous and envy eat up a person from within pride can eat up a person from without, and this from circumstances that backfire on them. Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor. All who fear the LORD will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech.
