Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
God promises to guard truth a like sentinel. Like a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch, is the LORD over the truth of his word. Yes, The LORD sees to it that truth is kept safe by disproving the words of liars. Pilate said, “So you are a king?” Jesus responded, “You say I am a king. Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.” For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. Hear this: Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed. The devil is a liar! He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet Jesus tells you the truth and to live it out, do you believe Him?
