Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
I see a bottle within a bottle. While the bottle on the outside is full the bottle on the inside is empty. Is the outside bottle actually full? I can fill up life with so many earthly things, but if I am not filling up my heart first seeking the Kingdom of Heaven, I have created a vacuum in my heart that will never be satisfied. Inventory your heart and make sure to keep it full in the good things of God, especially relationship with Christ. That bottle from within can only be full and satisfied by God. The things on the outside will never make it full. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart; and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. Jesus filling you with Holy Spirit will cause you to say: My soul is satisfied as with the richest of foods; with joyful lips my mouth will praise You. My mouth will declare the praise of the LORD; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever. Fellow child of faith, listen and be wise: Keep your heart on the right course. Though I am like a wineskin dried up by smoke, I do not forget Your statutes oh LORD. I will never forget Your precepts, for by them You have revived me.
