Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
Supply and Demand. Demand, demand. We demand so much from the LORD but do we even look to replenish ourselves in the supply of Holy Spirit? A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. How sad, I see a poor soul demanding its way but there is just not enough supply to satisfy their own personal economy. All they have done is take, take, take not realizing that they are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. They cannot give what they do not have. But the LORD has given us a bountiful supply His Spirit. Why do we go about our day without any extra oil of his presence? We need to be overflowing so when times of trouble come we have enough supply to meet the demand. God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. How will you ask if you are not in his presence? Listen: There is enough supply for each day to meet your demands. The question is are you comfortable with just enough of Holy Spirit to fill your meager lamp of desires? Be like the five wise virgins that took extra pure oil to light the darkness and see their bridegroom coming. Our Great Bridegroom is coming for us, His Bride. Let us be dripping in excess oil so we can light up his heart as his fiery eyes makes contact with us.
