Proverbs of a 38 yr old man

Set in your ways. You are so set in your ways that even your body is chained to your own wicked desires. Full of bitterness and in the bond of iniquity are the cords of yoke upon a person living in their own way. You live as if you are in bondage when Christ has set you free. It’s because your mind has become unfruitful. Allowing an emptying of the mind and having a spiritual experience only. Rather than by understanding and obeying the word of truth. We may think we are doing the right thing, but the LORD always knows what is in our hearts. Have nothing to do with the worthless things that people do, things that belong to the darkness. Instead, bring them out to the light. It is disgusting even to talk about what is done in the dark. People appear righteous in public, but God knows their hearts. What this world honors is detestable in the sight of God. We need to get out of our ways and start to let God transform and renew our minds in Christ. Do your best to improve your faith by adding goodness, understanding, self-control, patience, devotion to God, concern for others, and love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.
