Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
Open door policy. Keep the door of your heart open so that God can come and go as he pleases. We like to eat sinful desires in secret by locking the door of our minds behind us. Knowing that the LORD can still see everything and knows everything. Jesus does not force himself through the door yet he still patiently knocks at your heart in hopes you open up and receive him. When we close the door we begin to quench the Holy Spirit and become weak in our minds believing in delusions of sin and grandeur. The enemy loves for us to daydream in sin and pleasure as he tries to get us away from Gods plan for our lives. We start to think and do things we would never have done before, and this because we have locked the door of our minds and not allowed the Spirit of Christ access in. It is better to keep an open door policy with Jesus in our heart and mind. Give Him access daily so that He can illuminate your mind and keep you in perfect peace. Listen, He even calls you now, he wants to come and share a heavenly meal with you. Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Praise God, The Throne Room of Heaven is always open for the redeemed child of God! We can come at any time and receive His Presence and Guidance. His door is always open for us. As we grow and trust in God we are not fearful to let him into our messy hearts and minds. Perfect love casts out fear. Look, I see the doors of minds staying open and not ashamed anymore. Nothing to hide, nothing to fear, just an open door that leads to the throne room of your heart where Christ is seated. Wow, I think I am starting to understanding more and more what it means that I am seated in heavenly places. Oh Jesus, won't you sit and stay awhile. I need you and I love you. You are seated in me so I am seated in heavenly places.
