Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

Burn. LORD, burn away in me every selfish desire that wants to hold on to everything and not trust in you. I need time in your presence to burn. For you to heap hot burning coals on my head, and for you Jesus to reward me with more of Holy Spirit. Sin and consequence are to be taken seriously. We reap what we sow. Yes, it is serious injury, it is life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise. Sin leads to death. Thank you Jesus that you gave your life as a sacrifice for our sins. You are the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world! Remove sin and wickedness far from me. Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Daily I want to burn for you Jesus. Not a strange fire but a holy fire that has been honed in your Holy Presence. The enemy of our souls wishes to blow us out and sift us out like wheat. But I have prepared myself by continually seeking Christs presence. I want to burn for you Jesus and only you. My cross daily I carry as wood and Holy Spirit as fire. I am a living sacrifice.
