Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

Other people can benefit from our wisdom. Other people will suffer if we refuse God’s wisdom. So, Obey wise instructions! Then you will teach people how to live. But if you refuse correction, you will lead people in the wrong way. A wise person accepts correction. He wants advice. Other people will benefit from this. They will copy the wise man’s actions. The wise person leads other people. He shows them the right way to live. Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. Amen. Set the example, let those who see you day in and day out how hard you work to stay disciplined and practice righteousness. Just as shepherds watch over their sheep, you must watch over everyone God has placed in your care. Do it willingly in order to please God, and not simply because you think you must. Let it be something you want to do, instead of something you do merely to make money. Then when Christ the Chief Shepherd returns, you will be given a crown that will never lose its glory. Don't be bossy to those people who are in your care but set an example for them.
