Proverbs of a 40 yr old man

Good character is true beauty that never fades. Let your true beauty come from your inner personality, not a focus on the external. For lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry, and fine clothes. Holy women of long ago who had set their hopes in God beautified themselves with lives lived in deference to their own husbands’ authority. For example, our “mother,” Sarah, devoted herself to her husband, Abraham, and even called him “master.” Amen. So should our inner character and beauty come from our Master and LORD Jesus in deference to his authority in our lives. Because of his love for us we out to reflect his own love and character. A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher. Character is defined as strength of moral fiber. A lack of character is moral deficiency, and persons lacking character tend to behave dishonestly, unethically, and uncharitably. But those who have a character being transformed from a heart of stone to flesh have a inner beauty that never fades. Its the light of Christ in our hearts that molds us beautifully into His Image, the Image of God. The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. This is birthed in us through the law of Christ in our hearts. Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord!
