Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Soil is life. A seed needs soil for life and growth. Without soil you can do nothing. The seed filled with potential needs soil for life. Therefore, Christ is our true Vine planted in real soil for us to have real spirit and life. Without Jesus we can do nothing. We are a seed on the way side just waiting for the fowls of the air to devour us. We need to be firmly planted in the Word of Life Himself, so that we can become the righteousness of God. Jesus died for us the true seed of Righteousness. This so that we can bare the fruit of the Spirit and not the fruit of sin and death we are so accustomed to. May the word of our God be soil for your heart. And may you receive the implanted word Himself that is able to save our very souls. Take my life as a seed LORD Jesus, and plant me by the rivers of your living water. Grow me in your soil and renew my mind with your Marvelous Light. Say that today is the day and I will not harden the seed of my heart. I need your grace oh LORD as water for repentance. This will allow me to till the soil around my heart as I beat my chest saying Lord have mercy. Oh yes, now there is a good soil for the Word of God to produce hundredfold crop in my life. As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.
