Oh To Wise Meditations
Let's give thanks early before the holiday season. With Thanksgiving coming and Christmas to follow, it's such a magical time of year. Was thinking about in the Disney classic Pinocchio how overenjoyed Geppetto was to see Pinocchio as a real boy. Not getting what you want can break your heart, but a wish that comes true is a life-giving tree. And I thank God for the Word come to life. When I read the Word of God Its reading me. Jesus is alive and well and His Spirit lives in me. Thank you Jesus that you are God in the flesh. Humanity was able to hold you and have a living hope. Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. But we as Christians know Him through the power of the Gospel through the centuries. God has put his law in our hearts supernaturally through the Spirit of Christ. Here is a mystery. Christ in us in the hope of glory! My little children, for whom I am again in the anguish of childbirth until Christ is formed in you! Oh Christ be formed in us!
