Oh To Wise Meditations
People drink alcohol to drown their sorrows away. Unfortunately there is a bottom to this barrel that never satisfies. There is only one way to fill an empty soul and that is the well of life God in Christ can give you. For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death. Your dead even before physcial death. God is life. And in Jesus we have life and hope. Let's continual fill ourselves daily with the Spirit of Christ. He will truly drown out our sorrows and gives us everlasting life.
