What The Kingdom Is Like.
Good morning Brothers. Happy Thursday! Thank God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray for someone, God will hear and answer your prayers. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.(Romans 5:1.) Let’s sing, Praise, my soul, the King of heaven; To His feet thy tribute bring. Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, Who like thee His praise should sing? Praise Him, praise Him, Alleluia, Praise the everlasting King! Today’s verse is from Matthew 13:44. The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. People can give their time and energy for many causes and reasons. We can spend a lot of time making money to buy a good house or travel the world. We give up some things we like, to get what we want. We may have to give up personal interests to look after the family well. We know that to get something, we may have to give something else up. Marriage demands its sacrifices for the joy of the love it brings us, as does friendship. The message is that the kingdom of God has come among us now! Through Jesus, God is very close to the world and to us. The marks of his kingdom are compassion, justice, love, mercy, peace of mind and heart, closeness to God. These are the treasures of life and to live by them, we will find ourselves giving up other cares and concerns. This parable points to the importance of being able to let go. Today ask God to give you the freedom to lay aside your preoccupations, plans–even hopes–so that God’s way might unfold. God loves you. Have a blessed day
