Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Look how far sin has carried you? It has dragged you through the mud causing you shame. It has passed you through the fire and caused you to be burned. Further and further willful sin is taking you away from God. Jesus is following closely by in hopes that we would be done with this bondage. He has made every provision possible for us to be free from sin. But evil desires have carried us far into the dark night of the soul. In all our suffering Christ also suffered, and he personally rescued us on the Cross. In his love and mercy he has redeemed us. He has lifted us up and carried us throughout all of our years. Sin has carried us far from righteousness and truth. But Jesus is waiting for you to let go of your burdens so he can carry you back to the promises of God. The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. No, He reaches to carry his people back from darkness to light. How far in the darkness of sin are you willing to go without the flashlight of Grace? I pray we all never stop seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. His Mercy shines so bright.
