Oh To Be Wise Meditations

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. The wounded heart, broken and bruised God will not refuse. Realize that all are wounded and in need of grace and understanding. Like an open wound when touched, people get insecure and react in pain and defense. Sin leaves a wound that only God in Christ can heal. We carry the ointment of Holy Spirit inside us so we can share the healing of the Gospel. We need to made whole, may Jesus use us as holy instruments of righteousness for us glory. So many wounds, so many people hurting, let us bind and care for one another. Receiving healing daily from Jesus for the wounds of our hearts. Oh LORD, you are my Comforter in sorrow, even when my heart is faint within me. Woe to me because of my injury! My wound is incurable! Yet I said to myself, “This is my sickness, and I must endure it.”
