Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Make Right. So it is sin to know the good and yet not do it. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. We need to walk in the forgiveness God in Christ has provided for us in the Gospel. It will help us make right the situations in our lives that sin has marred and taken advantage of. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. Love has saved the world, and love is renewing and making all things new in his time. Love and forgiveness does involve justice and truth, Reconciliation and restitution. Yes, justice is relational. Its people living in right relationship with God, one another, and the natural creation. We need biblical justice in our land, in our community, and in our relationships. That's a mouthful, so help me God.
