Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The morality test. I will touch more in depth on this in the Proverbs of a 38 yr old man today. But just to set the tone for today is the topic of morality. Principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior. The extent to which an action is right or wrong. And it goes even more deeper as a society tries to make laws and keep peace in a land. There are particular systems of values and principles of conduct, especially one held by a specified person or society. But there is a morality test that all people living in this world are confronted with daily. Its the laws of God pertaining to this earth and how we are to live according to it. Basic heart law like the ten commandments, which cover honoring God and respecting man. Since the beginning of sin in this world and throughout history mankind has challenged the laws of God. Its a morality test for each generation to live at peace with one another. Some have done better than others, others have committed huge atrocities. But the morality test can not be avoided. Every society though different in culture, language, and law. Have to deal with the laws of God. The closer nations get to honor Gods laws first the more safe and free a country can become. Religion and duty do play a part, that is why I do not want to expound to much on this subject. I will go over more what God has done for humanity so that his laws can actually reign in mans heart and no government have to force the issue. Government has there place and they are given power by God to do go and not evil to its citizens. Many times this is not the case and the citizens suffer for it. All humanity is bent towards sin and error. We need the gift of God in Holy Spirit to help us live at peace with each other as evil is ever present before us. I will go over this next post. People need the LORD. And the Spirit of Christ is the answer.
