How long can the godless survive? How long can a nation sustain itself without the laws of God? Sooner rather later hearts will grow cold and weak man made laws will be overthrown and trampled. People's hearts will fail them because of fear, and the innocent will bear the brunt of the consequences. Trust is out the window when their is no union. Division only causes multiplied threats, allowing vacuums to be filled with every of kind fowl spirit their is. How long can the godless survive? The wicked do not care about the LORD; in their pride they think that God doesn't matter. Proud and brutal people hunt down the poor. But let them get caught by their own evil plans! For the wicked one boasts about his own cravings; the one who is greedy curses and despises the LORD. The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead. Yet they succeed in everything they do. They do not see their punishment awaiting them. They sneer at all their enemies. They think, “Nothing bad will ever happen to us! We will be free of trouble forever!” Their mouths are full of cursing, lies, and threats. Trouble and evil are on the tips of their tongues. They lurk in ambush in the villages, waiting to murder innocent people. They are always searching for helpless victims. They are hungry lions hiding in the bushes, hoping to catch some helpless passerby. They trap the poor in nets and drag them away. Their helpless victims are crushed; they fall beneath the strength of the wicked. The wicked think, “God isn’t watching us! He has closed his eyes and won’t even see what we do!” Arise, O LORD! Lift your hand, O God. Do not forget oppressed people! Study Job 15:34
