Make My Nest In Heaven. The trees of the LORD are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted. There the birds make their nests, and the storks make their homes in the cypresses. The birds of the air nest beside the springs; they sing among the branches. I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God. Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God! How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. I am building my nest in Heaven and adding my precious eggs daily to this secret place. Away from the thief and scoundrel and safely near the throne room of Heaven. There Jesus is keeping safely what I have entrusted Him. He will protect from moth and cobweb, and hatch the things invested into the Kingdom. I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return. I will not hold on to my possessions so tightly but focus more on giving to those in need. This will store up treasure for me in heaven! And the purses of heaven never get old or develop holes. Your treasure will be safe; no thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it. Twig by twig, leaf by leaf, look how beautiful my heart is nested near the Fathers heart. Make your nest in Heaven, there is much room here high above this world and into the next. Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Oh how beautiful it will be to see the hatchings of eternal life, reaping in the presence of the Most High what you spiritually sowed in tears! Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy!
